The Tiree Music Festival was set up by Daniel Gillespie, a Tiree local and musician with the band Skerryvore, in 2010. Since then it has become a sell-out success and a landmark event of the Scottish festival scene. In 2012 and 2013 it was named ‘Best Small Festival’ at the Scottish Events Awards.
