Glasgow Muster
Thank you to everyone who supported the Glasgow Muster and made it a very enjoyable and successful day. We had 10 club boats in attendance. The weather gods were on our side for the whole weekend. We mustered off Greenock for a cruise in company up the Clyde. We were led by the Honorary Commodore, Morrison Sutherland, on Mornan, followed by Matt Hill, our officer of the day, on Sharlo, who gave us a running commentary. Once berthed in Glasgow, we had an afternoon at leisure in a local hostelry. In the evening we had an excellent meal at La Rotunda. On Sunday morning the majority of the boats left Glasgow around 11.30am and cruised in company back down the river.
A big thanks to Matt for all his hard work organizing the muster, and to Lorraine and Lyn for pre-dinner drinks and nibbles.
Anchoring Muster – Rothesay
Again thanks to everyone who attended the muster last weekend. It was decided at the last minute, due to adverse weather forecasts, that the muster would take place in Rothesay and was hosted by Vice Commodore John White and Rear Commodore Matt Hill. A total of 10 boats attended as well as the Scotts and Brands who chartered a CalMac ferry for the day!!!!
Campbeltown Muster – 23rd/24th/25th June

Friday 23th June
It has been suggested that again we should cruise in company as everyone enjoyed the experience on the trip to Glasgow. I would suggest that all boats wishing to travel together from the Clyde should meet between the Cumbraes at 11.00am on Friday 23rd.
A berthing plan will be issued nearer the time for all boats booking.
Any members arriving on the Friday are free to ‘do their own thing’. Inter boat hospitality will surely ensue.
Saturday 24th June
12.00pm -Springbank Distillery
We have arranged a tasting session at Springbank distillery shop. This venue is a 5 minute walk from the Marina. The tasting session will be a selection of Springbank, Glengyle and Cadenhead whiskies. The cost for this session is £15.00 per head. Thereafter, you can choose to go on a full tour of the distillery. The cost for the tour is £7.00 per head.
3.00pm Afternoon Tea
Bring some goodies, cakes or savouries etc. Tea and coffee will be served from the Flag Officers Boats.
We could not get a restaurant to take a block booking for all of us on Saturday night so please make your own dining arrangements. To be followed by inter boat hospitality.
Sunday 25th June
Depart at your leisure or for those who would like to we can cruise home in company.
