West Highland Yachting Week is an historic sailing regatta and the biggest sailing event on the west coast of Scotland.
In takes in three venues, Craobh, Oban and Tobermory, with over 1000 competitors from around the world coming to participate. Taking place in arguably the most scenic waters in Scotland, it’s a wonderful spectactor sport too.
The event blends competitive racing with a varied programme of music and events throughout the week, most of which are open to visitors and sailors alike. From beach parties to ceilidhs, there’s as much fun to be had on land as at sea.
