March Newsletter 2025

Hi everyone, and welcome to my final newsletter as Commodore.

As I come to the end of my two-year term, I would like to take the opportunity to thank Deborah, my fellow Flag Officers, Rita Hollywood, and the Club Stewards for all their support throughout my time as Commodore. Your help and commitment have been greatly appreciated.

Over the past two years we tried a few new things—some worked very well and others perhaps not quite as we had hoped—but the important thing is that we gave them a go and continued to move things forward.

I would also like to thank everyone who attended our Musters and events. A great deal of time, effort, and planning goes into organising these, and it is the support and turnout from members that truly makes them worthwhile and enjoyable for all.

Finally, Deborah and I would like to wish every success to the incoming Commodore, Vice Commodore, and Rear Commodore as they take up their new roles within the club. We are sure the club will continue to thrive under their leadership.

Thank you all for your support over the past two years.
